Denny's cuisine showcases an iconic diner menu that emphasizes breakfast favorites and all-day comfort food. The Cookie Dough Lover's Pie is a decadent delight — rich chocolate chip cookie dough nestled in a flaky pie crust, served with premium vanilla ice cream and drizzled with salted caramel. Meanwhile, the Oven-Baked Caramel Apple Pie Crisp offers a warm and comforting finish to any meal, combining tender apples with a crisp topping and indulgent ice cream.

To accompany your meal, Denny's serves up freshly brewed Signature Diner Blend Coffee made from 100% sustainably harvested Arabica beans, ensuring each sip is smooth and revitalizing. For a refreshing twist, try their new Mocha Cold Brew or Salted Caramel Cold Brew, perfectly balanced with Colombian coffee and topped with luscious whipped cream and chocolate or caramel drizzles.

We go to Denny’s every Saturday for breakfast because we love the staff, atmosphere and 9 grain pancakes! Dennys is our go to for a quick bite on other days when we just want normal food at a good price. We’ve also met some wonderful people at Denny’s, staff and patrons alike. This particular Denny’s is a staple in this town and we look forward to our weekly visits.

After my disastrous experience with Denny’s in Bedford, PA back in April 2024, I actually swore off eating Denny’s for nearly two years. That is until today (January 20, 2026) when I decided to visit the Altoona, PA Denny’s location. I have to say, the difference is like night and day! The Altoona location is LEAGUES better than Bedford! First of all, the atmosphere of the building itself is well lit, clean, and looks like it has regular maintenance despite being an older building. Also, no crying toddlers during my visit! Just a bunch of older adults talking and laughing as well as pleasant music playing on the PA system. Next, we get into the food. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger with seasoned fries. The burger was messy but not soggy, with just the right amount of juice. The fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion complemented the well-cooked, dark brown, beef patties, which had a great flavor reminiscent of childhood summer barbecues with my dad! The seasoned fries were slightly overcooked but still tasty and flavorful. Great work, Altoona! Overall, I am very pleased with the dining experience that Denny's in Altoona, PA provided for me today! If you’re in Central Pennsylvania and want to eat at a Denny’s, choose THIS one! It’s SO worth driving the extra mileage!

We had a late-night dinner at Denny's and really enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken skillet with potatoes, mushrooms, and veggies — it was flavorful and filling. My husband had the steak with scrambled eggs and hash browns, and everything was cooked just right. We also got a brownie with ice cream on the house for opening an account, and we absolutely loved it! Great food and good service overall.

We had a cobb salad and a bourbon chicken skillet that were both good. The dinner options are generally underrated and are better than what you'd think from Denny's. Service was pretty good and there are coupons. If you have the app. The atmosphere is just a diner type atmosphere, hence the three-star rating.

I love this Denny's location. The food is always good, the atmosphere is comfy and I can relax, and I think the prices are fair. And service is excellent! If I had to complain about anything, I would say the sausage they use for the All American Slam taste a bit funny to me compared to boxed breakfast sausage that I buy in the grocery store. NOT bad, just different. It throws me off all the time thatbit tastes different, but not in a bad way. Also, completely just my taste buds talking, I just like things being cooked extra well done and they don't always do that. But the food is absolutely cooked to the temps they should be cooked to to be safe to eat. I just like EXTRA cook time (like, 20-30 seconds to a minute depending on what I order). But that's no big deal to me. The food is still good.
